  1. Congrats on starting your "Turbo Fire."

I'm taking a less agressive approach, but here is my current plan.

    1,200 calories/day
    15 minutes of weight training/day
    30 minutes aerobics/day

I'm tracking my food and exercise on myfitnesspal.com - a great, free, resource.

I'll weigh in once per week. My goal is to loose 5 lbs in 3 weeks and 10 lbs in 5 weeks.

Being consistent is the name of the game for me.

    Praying for your success.

    Blessings, Renee

  2. Hi Renee, thanks for stopping by again! I think that is a great plan. I still have to figure out how many calories I need to be eating. That sounds like a great meal/fitness tracker I will check that out soon. I want to suggest to you instead of weighing yourself, measure your self. You get better results that way. Because although you lose body fat you gain muscle and the scale will not show you are losing the weight. Even though you are and your getting muscle. I like to measure my waist it's the best to know you are losing weight. You can also measure hips, thighs, arm..etc. just wanted to through that out to you, don't want you to get discouraged with the weighing yourself. You can totally do it girl! I'm rooting for you and if you need prayer, just message or leave me a comment. Do you tweet?

Ok, so my goals yesterday were to do day 2 on Turbo Fire, and i had a bad day and didn't do it. But tonight is supposed to be my rest day and instead of resting I will do Tuesdays, since that was the day I rested. I can't wait to do it!! It killed me that I didn't do it yesterday, but it's ok today is a new day!

    God Bless you Renee

  5. Adrienne,

Checking in again! It sounds like you are on-track also. I completed my food dairy yesterday and I did go over a little. I walked but again no weight training. I plan on doing extra, extra, extra read all about it - today!

    Crazy question: Have you ever dreamed of training for the olympics? {I know, really random ... but had to ask.}

    Blessings and Prayers!

  6. Renee,

That is so awesome..you walked and you completed your food diary. Your on the right track!!!

Answer: No, I have not dreamed of training for the olympics. Only a 5k run. I did accomplish that however. By the grace of God. I did 9.11k {5.something miles} actually, and a 5k later {which 3 miles}. But yeah..haha, i'd never dream of that. What about you?

So yesterday after church I came home and worked out. It felt so good, it's weird but I actually like the sweat. Today I am on day 3...woo hoo!!
You should do a video, that might help. I know they helped me because I have to stick to it.

    In His Grace,
    Adrienne

  7. Adrienne,

You are quickly becoming my accountability partner in the area of health.

I had a pretty good day. I reached my calorie goal (over by 6, but that's okay), walked/cleaned, and did 30 minutes of light weight training. I completed myfitnesspal on-line again.

No, I have never desired olympic competition either. It's just not in my heart. The reason I asked was because I had a dream you were training for gymnastic olympics and your coach was saying "Give it your whole heart." Funny.

But there's some truth to that. Whatever I do, especially in my training to be a child and ambassador in God's kingdom, I want to give it my whole heart.

Blessings & continued prayer for your success,

    Renee

  8. Lol...i was thinking the same thing. ;)I totally would love that.

Good job on the calorie goal. I think I might need some help in this area, I struggle here. and I still need to checkout myfitnesspal.

Your the 3rd person this week that told me they had a dream about me this week so weird. I wonder what all these dreams mean?? Hmmm...But I think that message "give it your whole heart" was definitely from the Lord. I needed to hear that today, that was very encouraging! Thank you!

So last night I comepleted Day 4 on Turbo Fire!! Woot, Woot! or Day 3 don't know if rest day counts. Tonight is looking like a challenge for me to do a workout because I have a Women's ministry thing tonight! But I may just drink some tea to keep up to do it. So yeah, I need help in the calorie intake part. I'm lost when it comes to that, I'm sure it would help me to.

    God Bless you AP!

    1. Hi Adrienne,

After the weekend, it's time for me to check-in again. Congrats on last week and reaching Day 4 of Turbo Fire.

Weekends are hard for me to stay-on-track. I don't think I did too bad, but thinking and tracking are two different things.

My goals for this week are to:

      1. Eat 1,200 calories/day.
      2. Step up the fitness plan. I'm in my 30ies and the 15 minutes/day is just too whimpy. I think I'll do "The Firm's" 30 day jumpstart program.
      3. Continue to track on http://www.myfitnesspal.com

On the subject of "giving it your whole heart" ...
I've learned that going for a dream often requires risk, but when God is behind it ... I succeed. I've had to let go of "the old" and in faith ... to step into "the new."

I had a dream to write a book, and God gave me just the right encouragement {through words, dreams, etc} at the right time ... and next month, my first, official, book comes out. With God, all things are possible.

Wanted to share that with you to encourage you to "go for the gold" of your own dreams ... whatever they might be.

      Blessings & Prayers,
      Renee
